Introduction

Sharon wants to help the keep the environment clean but she isn't sure what the environment is. Would you like to help Sharon discover her environment? Would you like to help Sharon think of ways to keep her environment clean?

Your quest is to discover what environment means and to explore ways that you can help improve your environment.

The Task

Read the story, "Sharon Finds the Environment."

Discover where Sharon found her environment.

Research two ways you can help keep your environment clean.

Discover ways to slow down using up our natural resources.

Discover ways to reduce harmful gases in the air.

List two facts from the Environmental Fact List that you did not know.

Color on-line and print from the list of topics on the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences page.
